Therapeutic formula based on pure 1% retinol, which has the ability to transform into retinoic acid in the skin. The flakes have a brightening, anti-acne, anti-aging and exfoliating effect. They reduce the visibility of enlarged sebaceous gland openings.

Retinol has strong anti-comedostatic and sebostatic properties, reducing acne lesions in both acne vulgaris and adult acne. Its intense keratolytic effect helps to lighten discolourations and even out the surface of the epidermis, leaving the skin uniform and smooth. Retinol is the most researched anti-aging substance that reverses the effects of exogenous aging, keeping the skin firm and elastic for longer. A cosmeceutical intended for combination and seborrheic skin, acne, and for local use on scars and stretch marks.

The product is not recommended for sensitive, thin and highly vascularised skin.

Cosmeceutical for use at night after two-stage cleansing of the skin. The pads are intended for face, neck and back therapy. Initially, use the pads twice a week, and then gradually increase the frequency of application.

Remove the pad from the jar and wipe it over your skin, avoiding the eye area. After application, stinging and burning are felt.

Do not wash off the preparation. Wash your hands after rubbing the skin with a pad. After the burning sensation stops, apply a moisturising cream or serum from the Hyaluronic or Therapeutic line. Treatment with pads may cause severe exfoliation and irritation of the epidermis; if this occurs, the intervals between applications should be increased.

Do not use if you have sensitive skin or are pregnant (the product can be used during lactation).

When using a retinol treatment, use Dermomedica Antioxidant Mineral Cream SPF 30 based on zinc every morning to enhance the metabolism of vitamin A in the skin and for mineral photoprotection.

If you undergo in-office treatments, the pads should be left aside 2-4 days before the treatment and introduced into care 2-4 days after the treatment, or according to the therapist's recommendations.

Treatment with external retinoids (if there are no contraindications) should last for 18-24 months.
